About Reds at Thousand Oaks

Reds is located at Thousand Oaks Golf Club, where the tree-lined views from our two-tiered patio are hard to beat. Sitting near the relaxing fireplaces with a glass of red or white truly makes for an ideal night out!

Our History

Reds began as Reds on the River in Rockford, MI, named as a tribute to its extensive wine list. Upon RedWater’s purchase of Thousand Oaks Golf Club, the wine-centric restaurant was relocated to Thousand Oaks in 2016. The move brought the restaurant closer to Grand Rapids and allowed our team to expand the restaurant, kitchen, and outdoor dining space, providing more space for diners to enjoy a larger selection of food and beverage offerings. 

What We’re Known For

Reds has an extensive award-winning wine list with some of the best pricing in the Grand Rapids area. We have received the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award every year since 2019. Our large wine selection may bring you in, but our food will have you coming back for more. We have a wide range of menu offerings for all palates—you can find flavorful dishes like Crispy Confit Chicken Wings, Brisket Street Tacos, and Smoked Gouda Chicken Pasta. 

Our main specialties, however, are found in steak and seafood. We pride ourselves on unique plates like Honey-Orange Faroe Island Salmon, Crab Stuffed Whitefish, and the Oaks Signature Steak, a 10-oz. New York strip complete with fried boursin and mushroom bordelaise.
